Getting there

By Car

To get to event registration and the start finish area please direct yourself to Pitlochry – PH16 5BX. Pitlochry is 26 miles north of Perth on the main A9 trunk road to Inverness. The A9 links with the motorway network at Perth giving easy access from the south. If you don’t have a sat nav then we advise you use the AA Route Planner or Google Maps to plan your journey.

Whilst most people choose to ride to the start line on the day of the event, if you wish to drive then please be aware of the possible road closures that may be in place.

For the event day on Sunday 21st May there will be car parking available – vehicles are usually charged a £5.00 parking fee. You will be able to pre-book this closer to the event.

By Train

Pitlochry has a mainline railway station with direct services from London and additional connections via Edinburgh and Glasgow.

National Rail or The Train Line are both reliable sources through which you can book your tickets in advance.

Make sure you check whether the company you book with will allow you to carry your bike on the train before you book.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, which is 68 miles away from Pitlochry and offers services throughout the UK and Europe.
