This year, The Marie Curie Etape Caledonia is offering more than just a beautiful bike ride. Whilst cyclists will get to enjoy 81 miles of closed roads and stunning Highland scenery, they will also have the opportunity to broaden their horizons through our brand new “Etape Talks.”
“Etape Talks” is a range of talks that will be premiering in the Pitlochry Festival Theatre during The Marie Curie Etape Caledonia event weekend. Hosted by influential speakers on a range of topics including cycling performance, nutrition and determination, the talks promise to whet cyclists’ appetites for the ride the following day.
Taking place throughout Saturday 20th May 2017, all registered participants of The Marie Curie Etape Caledonia are eligible to attend any of the three talks. Each talk has 100 spaces only and they are all free to attend. Participants are allowed to bring a plus one if they wish.
How to Attend
An online ballot will be open from midday on Thursday 16th February 2017, where participants can apply to attend either of the three talks. To enter the ballot, fill out the quick online form by clicking the button below, simply log into your Active account and select “purchase additional merchandise” where you can choose which talks you would like to apply to attend. Tracy Griffen – Fuelling For Performance
Tracy Griffen has been a Personal Trainer for over 12 years, and runs a fitness studio in Leith. One of the founding directors of the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling in 2013, Tracy can often be seen biking around the capital with her fitness pug in tow.
