As one of the UK’s most spectacular sportives, The Marie Curie Etape Caledonia is a staple cycle event for any keen cyclist. In it’s 11th year, and with more than 5,000 riders taking part annually, it is an event that boasts one of the most scenic, closed road rides the UK. As well as the 81 miles of unrivalled panoramic views, participants can enjoy a fun filled weekend with a host of activities taking place to make it a memorable occasion for all.

What does being a volunteer involve?

Throughout the event weekend, you may be able to help out with any of the following:

Providing vital support at race pack pick up
Assisting with making sure all runs smoothly at the start line
Marshalling, clapping and cheering riders on around the course
Providing fuel and encouragement for the riders at one of the feed stations
Handing out medals and giving riders a big pat on the back at the finish line
Ensuring the parking area works like a dream
